When I went to bed last night, I didn't think I'd wake up to the end of a years-long Word Blitz rivalry, but so it goes. Can't play a game that gives away points for free, much less one that prompts me to use Inspirations that give me credit for words I didn't find myself. Shocking changes to what was a simple but competitive game. Uninspiring indeed.

Addicting game, been playing it for years, but the Dec 2023 "enhancements" have really interrupted gameplay with constant popups for "books", "coins", and other distractions. It was a wonderful game when you just challenged friends and random strangers to see who can score the highest finding words in 3, one minute rounds. Insights is a good tournament addition to the game, but should stay out of regular game play, and the bonus words and other stuff should just be limited to weekly features.

Thanks for the feedback, Corey. While we understand the new changes are not for everyone, we think they will make the game more fun in the long run. Please rest assured that we will make adjustments if we find the majority of our player base wants something else out of the game. If you have concrete feedback about Power Words, please let us know.

Overall, it's a fun word game. The main reason it is not rated higher is because the app turns the sound back on for EVERY Ad. I'm fine watching ads in free apps, but don't blast me with the sound when I've made it clear that I want no sound coming from the app. 😡 I also hope the android app will soon get the tournaments that the Facebook version has.

Hi James, we recommend you turn your sound off before starting the game, as the ads are not part of the game. The tournaments are actually Facebook-exclusive and will therefore, unfortunately, not become part of the standalone app. Best regards, your Lotum Support Team
